WHAT I DO BEST.

I am a storyteller. I help brands discover and develop their unique stories as a tool for culture and community building.

 

I spent more than 25 years doing this for clients such as BP America, Ameritech, McDonald's, Huntington Bank, Goodyear, Sherwin Williams, FirstEnergy, Management Recruiters International, Parker Hannifin, Bruegger's Bagels, MTD, Henkel, White Castle and many others. 

As an advertising agency principal and writer/creative director, I have led teams in the development of work that has routinely outperformed industry standards for readership, click-throughs and engagement, that has driven record brand awareness, and that has been recognized for creative excellence in the Communication Arts Advertising Annual, the One Show, The BMAs, The ATHENA Awards, Adweek, AdAge, Creativity Magazine, and Print’s Regional Design Annual. In addition to work that performs, I have built cultures that perform, helping drive creative innovation and excellence for over 15 years at Brokaw and fostering a spirit of openness and cooperation between the account, creative and client teams at Point To Point.

I enjoy mentoring people and bringing new thinking and talent into a great creative industry. As an instructor at Kent State University, I helped develop a creative curriculum in the Advertising program and planned, designed and launched a student-run advertising agency.
